The title of this blog
pays homage to one of my favorite beverages, tea. Not only is tea healthy, with
lots of antioxidants, and zero sugar content (if you can resist the urge to add
some), but its aroma and warmth elicit feelings of home and comfort. Whether it
be after a long tedious day of anatomy lab, or in the wee hours of the morning, tea
always brings a smile to my face as I take my first sip of a freshly steeped cup.
As my beverage of choice, tea has been the perfect sidekick to my power
breakfasts, posttest Sunday smorgasbords, or late night study
sessions. While my blog posts will not focus on tea, per se, I will focus on
the many things which accompany it. You will find many of my quick go to
recipes, as well as some medical school tidbits on this blog. So, sit down, get
comfortable, and enjoy…with tea!
Hi! I’m Patricia, a current second year medical student, a former California native now living in the polar extreme weather of Chicagoland. Between the hecticness of studying, tests, and classes, I enjoy using my free time to, well...sleep ...but also fuel my brain and body with healthy, fresh, tasty food…with tea (of course).
Please feel free to leave a comment or ask a question about any of my posts. Whether it be about a recipe or the medical school process, I would be happy to hear your thoughts and answer your questions. Thanks for stopping by!
